And in order to avoid the neceffity of a new appointment of Commiffioners, it is expedient and proper that the faid Act be further continued for a limited time May it therefore pleafe Your Moft Excellent Majefty, that it may be enacted, and be it enacted by the King's Moft Excellent Majelty, by and with the advice and confent of the Legislative Council and Affembly of the Province of Lower Canada, conftituted and affembled by virtue of, and under the authority of an Act passed in the Parliament of Great Britain, intituled: "An A&t to repeal "certain parts of an Act pafled in the fourteenth year of His Majefty's reign, inti "tuled; "An Act for making more effectual provifion for the Government of the Pro"vince of Quebec in North America" " And to make further provifion for the Go"vernment of the faid Province," And it is hereby enacted by the authority of the fame, that the above mentioned Act, paffed in the forty-fifth year of His Majesty's reign; And the said Provisional Articles of agreement, as alfo the abovesaid Act, paffed in the thirty-feventh year of His Majefty's reign, and each of them, and all and every article, claufe, obligation, penalty, fine, forfeiture, matter and thing therein contained be, and the same is, and are hereby continued, and shall be in force to the twenty-fifth day of March, which will be in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eleven, and no longer.
