Commissioned on 8th May, 1852, to continue in office till the first Monday of December, 1852. He was appointed to fill the vacancy occasioned by the death of the Hon. RICHARD COULTER.

* The Hon. RICHARD COULTER died on 20th April, 1852. His death was announced in the Supreme Court on 11th May, 1852, by BENJAMIN CHAMPNEYS, Esq., late Attorney-General; a resolution adopted, with appropriate remarks by his Honor the Chief Justice, was entered on the minutes, and as a mark of respect to the memory of the deceased, the Court adjourned.
