James C. Olson is president emeritus of the University of Missouri. He is the author of Red Cloud and the Sioux Problem (Nebraska 1965). Ronald C. Naugle is Huge-Kinne Professor of History and chair of the department at Nebraska Wesleyan University. With Patricia Cox Crews, he is the author of Nebraska Quilts and Quiltmakers (Nebraska 1991).
