The building of the Attica and Arcade Railroad is still delayed by interference of another company, who have claimed that they would build it, but we regard our company as the only legal one for this route. And as the right of way is nearly all secured, we hope to supply this short and important link, connecting the New York Central with the Atlantic and Great Western Railroad within the next twelve months. The route has been surveyed, and the line located through the portion in Broome and Chenango counties, and for a short distance in Cortland county, and maps filed in said counties.
