ATHLETICS. Duelling Swords-won by W. Scott O'Connor, New-York Fencers' Club. Sabres-won by K, B. Johnson, New-York A. C. 327 The Intercollegiate championship tournament was held at the New-York A. C., March 25. Seven institutions sent teams of three roen each, and each man fenced one bout with all of the other contestants in the tournament. The final result gave the championship to the U. S. Naval Academy at Annapolis. West Point being second and Columbia third. The summaries: Competitors. An annual inter-city team match between fencers from New-York and BosNew-York and Boston clubs was held at the Fencers' Club in New-York, February 18. Four teams were entered representing the Boston A. A., the New-York A. C., the New-York .Turn Verein, and the Fencers' Club, cach | Annapolis including three men. The results were as follows: First Round-Boston A. A. beat New-York A. C. by 5 bouts to 3; and Fencers' Club beat N. Y. Turn Verein, by 5 bouts to 1.
