IMPORTANT NOTICE.

STATE NORMAL SCHOOL

The next term of the State Normal School will open at San José on Wednesday, June fourteenth, eighteen hundred and seventy-one, the San José Board of School Trustees having generously tendered the use of the Santa Clara Street Grammar School building until the first of August, by which time the State Normal School building will have been so far completed as to be ready for occupancy.

The work on the State Normal School building is being pushed by the Superintendent of Construction, Mr. Reardon, with great energy, and all concerned may rest assured that the school will be opened at San José at the time above mentioned, under the most gratifying conditions and with the most cheering prospects.
