On which day, being the day fixed by law for the meeting of the General Assembly of Alabama, the House of Representatives of Alabama was called to order by Hon. Thos. H. Clark, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Alabama. The session was opened with prayer by the Rev. Mr. Davis, of Montgomery.
